317L stainless steel has unique properties and characteristics resulting from its chemical composition. It is composed of a combination of elements such as chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and carbon. Chromium is the main component of 317L stainless steel and makes it highly corrosion-resistant. It forms a protective layer on the metal surface, preventing rust and staining.
